My Photography journey or How I started Photography business in DMV area

Welcome!

My name is Elena, and I am a maternity and portrait photographer with a passion for capturing beautiful moments in life.

I was born and raised in Moldova, where my love for art and creativity was nurtured from a young age. Graduating from Art school further fueled my desire to express myself through photography.

My journey as a photographer began in 2013 when my Family recognized my potential and gifted me my very first camera.

From that moment on, I immersed myself in the world of photography, constantly honing my skills and exploring different genres. Initially, I focused on wedding and event photography, but the demanding nature of the work left me feeling tired and exhausted.

In 2017, I made the life-changing decision to move to the United States, leaving behind my camera for a while.

However, everything changed when I became a mother in 2021.

Inspired by the incredible journey of motherhood and maternity, my husband encouraged me to rediscover my passion for photography. Since then, I haven't stopped capturing the magical moments that unfold during this special time in a woman's life.

Being a part of the unbreakable bond between mother and child is truly an honor. I find immense joy in preserving these precious moments for families, creating timeless portraits that capture the beauty, love, and anticipation of this extraordinary journey.

Through my lens, I aim to celebrate the strength, vulnerability, and natural beauty of expectant mothers, providing them with cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it's a maternity session or a portrait session, I strive to create an atmosphere of comfort and authenticity, allowing my clients to feel at ease and truly be themselves.
